CHS c/o 2001 Reunion Cancelled

After hearing the feedback from many of the classmates - changes were trying to be made that would be more suitable for the reunion based off of this feedback. With the reunion being this month that does not leave much time or available options to plan anything that would be considered best for us all.

 

With that being the case the reunion on July 30, 2011 at The Clarion, Myrtle Beach has been cancelled.

The reunion can be held at a later date that will provide adequate planning time, but as of this moment there are no set plans.

 

A few of you mentioned having a separate get-together, now that this date is available, I suggest that if you are able you still plan on meeting and enjoying the time time to catch up with one another at where ever you may choose!

 

To anyone who has already paid your money. Brandon will be in touch with you and the money will be refunded promptly.

Reunion Attire

There have been a few people asking about the attire for the reunion so hopefully this will answer those questions!

The reunion is being held in a banquet room...this room is the same room that is often used for wedding receptions so the decor is elegant. With that being the case the attire for the reunion could be formal but we feel that most would prefer it to be more relaxed, yet a fun time to dress to impress!

For this occasion your best option is to dress in something between your "Sunday Best" to "Cocktail Attire".

Reunion Tickets are now being sold!!!

CHS Class of 2001 you may now purchase your tickets for the ten year reunion to be held at The Banquet Room at the Clarion on the Waterway, Myrtle Beach,on July 30,2011 from 7:00pm-11:00pm.

Tickets are $40.00 each if purchased before July 8, 2011.
After July 8, 2011 the price will be $50.00 per ticket.

The Date has been SET!!!

CHS Class of 2001,

There is now an answer to the million dollar question!!
Please mark your calendar for the weekend of July 29, 2011!!

The Banquet Room at the Clarion on the Waterway, Myrtle Beach, has been reserved for our class reunion to be held July 30, 2011!!!

There will be a special rate of $139.99+tax per night at the Clarion for those needing to reserve a room - You may contact The Clarion at 1-800-847-2747 or 843-236-1000 and speak with the front desk representative. Be sure to give the representative the dates and the name of our group - "Conway High School Class of 2001". A credit card is required to hold the room reservation but you may switch your form of payment upon arrival and check-in to the hotel. This is completely separate (and only for those who WANT to reserve a room at the Clarion) from the reunion ticket cost which will be announced ASAP.

More details to come SOON on the planned events for July 29th-30th and cost but please go ahead and mark your calendars now for these dates!!

Reunion Update

UPDATE:

First of all, thanks to those of you who were able to attend the meeting Saturday!

For the next few weeks, we will be gathering pricing and info from different venues and at the next meeting on April 30, the date and location will be set.
I will pass on this info as soon as it becomes available to me so that we can all mark our calendars!

Reunion Committee Meeting 1

We are going to have our first meeting to start planning our TEN YEAR reunion. If you are  interested in joining the Reunion Committee, we will be having lunch this Saturday - April 9, 2011 at FATZ on 501 right down from the Conway Ford Dealership at 12 Noon.
